Tiny flowers on delicate stems result in complex multi-branching clusters at stem ends. Most flowers are white but some can be light pink. White cultivars can turn shades of pink due to cold growing temperatures prior to their harvest. Stems can be 24-36 inches (61-91 cm) long.

Design Tips
Gypsophila is the most popular filler that is used in all types of bouquets and design work. It mixes well with all flowers, adding a light and airy appearance. Small clusters of blossoms also work well in wedding, corsages, floral headpieces, as well as garland designs. Do not "mist" Gyp as this may cause blossom browning. Gypsophila does dry easily and well. However, drying Baby's Breath generates very high levels of ethylene gas. Dry Baby's Breath in a well-ventilated area, away from other flowers.

Troubleshooting
If buds were harvested too immature, they will not fully open. Gypsophila is ethylene sensitive. Accelerated wilting can be seen if exposed to ethylene as well as botrytis damage. Plastic sleeves should be removed as soon as possible as condensation build up can lead to flower and stem disease. Do not overstuff the buckets as this product is prone to molding. Smell can be unpleasant if the conditions are not favorable.
