Floralife®Express Clear 100 Verified by FloraHolland for Astilbe
HASSELT, Belgium – May 3, 2018 – Smithers-Oasis Company, a worldwide leader in providing solutions throughout the plant and flower journey from propagation to presentation, recently received verification from FloraHolland for its Floralife® Express Clear 100 for post-harvest astilbe care.
FloraHolland, the world renowned floral auction located in The Netherlands, is a Dutch cooperative of growers and the largest floral auction in the world. Floralife® Express Clear 100 received the verification after a stringent, two-phased, testing procedure that began in early 2017, and after recently being verified for roses.

The verification process involved a precise temperature and humidity controlled testing procedure with Express Clear 100 – including a one-day grower simulation, a four-day transportation simulation, a two-day retail simulation and, finally, the consumer vase-life simulation.
The FloraHolland verification process signifies that as of May 1, 2018, Floralife® Express Clear 100 will be added to the list of approved treatments for growers. Flowers sold through the auction must adhere to very precise product specifications regarding how they are packed, treated and transported. As part of the process, growers are informed that Floralife® Express Clear 100 is an accepted and recommended pretreatment for astilbe.
