The employee-owned USA Bouquet Company was founded in 2001, but across its various divisions brings more than 80 years of floral experience to the market. With over 2000 employees who process 200 million stems annually, USA is known in the marketplace for its floral bouquets, consumer bunches & floral arrangements. Here is a preview of our Spotlight article highlighting USA Bouquet’s floral best practices.
Floral Best Practices: Logistics
Logistics is one of the primary pillars of USA Bouquet’s success. They maintain five locations across the US, in major points of entry and distribution centers. USA Bouquet also has facilities in the Quito, Bogota, and Medellin airports to allow greater control over the flowers through the flower chain.
The company carries logistical certifications under the Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism (C-TPAT), the Business Alliance for Secure Commerce (BASC) and the Air Safety Institute (ASI).
Floral Best Practices: Technology
USA Bouquet has invested heavily in cold chain management, delivery and order tracking systems and overnight wet delivery. They maintain strict temperature control in the warehousing and transportation phases of the flower chain as well as during the customs process. On the customer-facing side of the business, USA Bouquet’s e-commerce division is one of the fastest growing parts of the business.
Floral Best Practices: Sustainability
USA Bouquet’s Florverde and Fair Trade certifications underscore the company’s commitment to wellbeing of floral workers and to environmental responsibility.
Additionally, USA Bouquet supports charitable organizations such as Save the Children, the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the American Heart Association.
